 ADVANTANGES OF ELECTRONIC BALLAST OVERMAGNETIC BALLAST FOR HID LAMPS

   Efficiency: Electronic ballasts for HID lamps consume about 30% less power than their magnetic equivalent.

   Light Output: Electronic ballasts for HID lamps consume about 30% less power than their magnetic
   equivalent.
              (i) HID lamp gives out more stable light irrespective of fluctuations in input supply.
              (ii) MHL/CDMT HID Lamps gives more consistent color of light.
              (iii) Slower degradation of light over time, so more useful life of the lamp.

   Lamp Life: Due to more precise control pulse & less stress on electrodes increases about 25% lamp life.

   Humming Noise: No humming noise at all due to high frequency operation and absence of metal laminations.

   Lamp Warm up & Strike Time: Warm Up and start up time with E.B. significantly lower than their magnetic
   equivalents.

   RE-strike Time: Lower cool down & re-start up time for CDMT/Quartz HID Lamps.

   Stroboscopic Effect: No stroboscopic effect due to hig frequency operation.
